Name: Lucy Kemp

Hometown: Napier

Day Job: designer/director of Pardon My French

Daily Uniform: anything that keeps me cool – its so hot in my workroom at the moment! The “Sunseekers Dress” and the “Ultimate leisure Suit” from my Summer 13 range do a good job.

This morning I ate: Cornflakes

My closet is: Far too small for my ever expanding wardrobe!

Currently on high rotation: all pieces from my summer range except for the stripey dress as i rarely buy clothes these days!

On my shopping list, right now:  Now that I have my own label I have very little need to shop, but with winter in mind, I would like to find a good pair of winter boots, a thick navy wooly jumper and as a wish list item, the Eclipse Dress from the new Winter 2013 range by Penny Sage.

Beauty products I swear by:

Greatest indulgence: Blue crushed Velvet Opening Ceremony boots as a birthday present to myself, shortly before I left my job at Karen Walker to start my own business – my greatest and last indulgence……for now.

I’m dying to go to: MOROCCO!!!

Right now, I’m listening to: Kate Bush, Tom Waits, The Kills and Slick Rick.

No closet should be without: An amazing Winter coat.

Most stylish person, or moment, EVER: Margot Tenenbaum from the movie The Royal Tenenbaums is my style muse.

My style motto: Keep it simple and classic rather than trend driven. Wear what makes you feel happy and comfortable and if in doubt, navy and white stripes always look good.
